 Hi, I’m Joanna, the designer behind Salt to Summit Interior Design. I help homeowners finish "that last bit" of their spaces through thoughtful styling, smart layout decisions, and a warm, livable approach to design. It’s in those final layers that a house begins to feel truly personal.

My love for interiors started early, with constant furniture rearranging and repainting my bedroom more times than my mom probably wanted. Over the years, that curiosity grew into remodeling five homes of my own and later owning an interior design business in San Diego, experiences that shaped my belief that good design should feel welcoming, intentional, and made for real life.

Salt to Summit is deeply personal to me. It reflects my love for the ocean, the mountains, and the beauty of the Salt Lake Valley I call home, as well as the journey in between. Life moves through quiet seasons and meaningful highs, and I bring that same understanding into my work, helping homeowners thoughtfully finish their spaces with care, warmth, and intention.

 I’ve always believed that the most meaningful homes aren’t perfect, they’re personal. They’re layered over time, shaped by real life, and filled with pieces that tell a story.

Salt to Summit was created for homeowners who are almost there, the ones who have good pieces, good intentions, and good taste, but need a designer’s eye to bring it all together.
